Admin Army’s Big Win at NZPPA 2023: Our First Time and We Rocked It!

2023 was been a wild ride for us at Admin Army, as evidenced by our ever-growing trophy cabinet, and it hit a high note on December 8th. We dove headfirst into the New Zealand Payroll Practitioners Association Payroll Awards in Auckland, and guess what? We absolutely nailed it!

Meet Josh Wilson – The Payroll Wizard

First up was the NZPPA Payroll Practitioner of the Year award. In a lineup of top talent, Josh Wilson from our team stole the show. He jumped in during our busiest time and showed he’s got serious game with payroll.

Josh isn’t just good with numbers and systems; he’s the brains behind our “payroll health check service,” changing the way we and our clients handle payroll. Need a tough payroll problem solved? Josh is your guy. And he’s not just about skills – he’s all about continuous improvement and leading the charge on big projects.

Bonnie Reece – Leading the Pack

Then there was Bonnie Reece, our ace Payroll Manager, bagging the NZPPA Payroll Leader of the Year 2023. Bonnie shone up against three other tough contenders with her top-notch leadership and smarts. After coming back from parental leave, she took the reins of our growing team and pushed us into new territories, like Australian payroll.

Clients and our team love her, and it’s no surprise. Bonnie’s not just managing; she’s changing the game and inspiring us all.
